Abstract

• New HE perovskites (PrNdSmEuGd)AlO3 and (LaPrSmEuTb)AlO3 are sol-gel obtained. • Single-phase materials with orthorhombic perovskite structure are proved. • Complete sets of structural parameters were derived from XRD data. • Lattice parameter crossovers predict structural phase transitions in both materials. • DR spectra of HEPs are superposition of the absorption features of constituent RE.
