Abstract
En 中文
In the past decade, an increasing number of scholars have adopted digital and geolocational technologies to map, visualize and nudge tourist consumption in real time. This special issue offers a curated collection of conceptual, empirical, and longitudinal studies to illustrate how such approaches and methods can advance our understanding of spatiotemporal behavior in specific Nordic contexts. In this editorial foreword we reflect on the novel insights and collective contributions emerging from the papers and consider future research perspectives and better synergies between tourism and recreation scholarship.
