Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
The stability of homogeneous, isotropic copper and aluminum plates with finite thickness is examined in this work utilizing the coupled thermo-elasticity framework, taking into account influence of temperature and magnetic environments on the behavior of edge waves. An expression describing the phase velocity of these waves is formulated and further simplified under the assumption of a thin-plate structure. Numerical analysis has been conducted to evaluate phase velocities under different values of initial stress parameters, thermo-elastic coupling, and magnetic pressure number, with the findings illustrated through graphical representations.
