[C-11]DPA-713 positron emission tomography (PET) has shown higher translocator protein (TSPO) availability, a marker of glial response, in cognitive control and declarative memory brain regions of virally suppressed people with HIV (VS-PWH). Here, 14 VS-PWH completed repeat TSPO PET after similar to 18 months. Regional TSPO was largely time-stable, with modest variability in some participants that was unrelated to antiretroviral therapy. Further study of a stable, higher TSPO density in select brain regions of VS-PWH is warranted.
