Abstract
En 中文
• Stand composition and environmental effects on boreal forest WUE were assessed. • Mixed spruce-pine forest showed lower WUE than pine monoculture. • Mixed forest EWUE was more sensitive to soil moisture than pine forest EWUE. • Drought triggered contrasting WUE strategies: reactive vs conservative. • Forest composition strongly affected WUE.
