Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
• The emergence of the study of statistical learning as a mechanism of implicit learning is reviewed. • Statistical learning must be constrained in order to operate effectively and efficiently. • Behavioral, computational, and neural approaches to the study of statistical learning are mutually beneficial. • Studies focused on early development and on mature learners complement one another in the search for underlying mechanisms.
