• A controlled benchmark compares standard MC, randomized LHS, and scrambled Sobol’ QMC. • LHS and Sobol’ QMC markedly outperform standard MC under limited sampling budgets. • Sobol’ QMC offers balanced, extensible sampling with accuracy comparable to LHS. • A first nonlinear stochastic framework is developed for foundation-supported FG-GOEAM thin plates. • Coupled auxeticity-stiffness-uncertainty trade-offs are revealed for robust metamaterial design.
