Abstract
En 中文
• S-shaped samples allow in-situ observation of local shear strain (rate) mapping. • Under quasi-static shear loading, PLC bands and micro-shear bands occur. • Under dynamic shear loading, shear rate exhibits pronounced peaks prior to failure. • TEM analysis confirms the formation of ultrafine grains under dynamic shear loading. • Different loading conditions affect formation and growth of adiabatic shear bands.
