Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
• Serrated 3-level crossed-lamellar architectures are innovatively proposed. • FEM accuracy is validated with ≤6% deviation from experimental mechanical data. • With increasing serration number, stiffness and strength drop but toughness rises. • Positive hybrid design effectively overcomes strength-toughness trade-off. • Serrated top and inclined bottom boost strength while keeping high toughness.
