The weak interfacial bonding between basalt fiber (BF) and the cementitious matrix limits its effectiveness in enhancing the crack resistance of ultra-high-performance concrete (UHPC). This study addresses this issue by developing a composite material modified with nano-calcium silicate hydrate (N-CSH) on basalt fibers. Modified basalt fibers (MBF) were prepared using N-CSH solutions at various concentrations to investigate the synergistic effects between the two materials. The hydration mechanism, microstructure, and pore structure of UHPC mixtures with different proportions were analyzed using X-ray diffraction (XRD), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and mercury intrusion porosimetry (MIP). Results show that when the concentration of N-CSH in the modifying solution increased from 0.2 to 0.6%, the compressive strength, flexural strength, and tensile strength of UHPC initially increased and then decreased, reaching optimal values at an N-CSH concentration of 0.4%. Based on this, UHPC incorporating 0.3% MBF showed improvements in compressive strength, flexural strength, and tensile strength by 12.9%, 13.2%, and 39.7%, respectively, compared to UHPC containing the same amount of unmodified BF. In the modification solution, N-CSH and KH550 are linked via Si–O–Si bonds formed through dehydration condensation of hydroxyl groups (Si–OH), while the amino propyl group of KH550 acts as a "molecular bridge," anchoring both KH550 and N-CSH onto the surface of BF. This increases the specific surface area and surface roughness of BF, thereby enhancing the interfacial bond strength between the fiber and the matrix.
