Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
• High computational cost of Monte Carlo method (MC) requires alternative approaches. • Successive Pareto simulation (SPS) method is proposed for structural reliability. • SPS uses the Pareto optimality concept to reduce the number of function evaluations. • SPS results were benchmarked against literature and other simulation-based methods. • SPS had the accuracy of MC and required fewer evaluations than other methods.
