Abstract
En 中文
Type of research: Prospective, post-VSITE survey of vascular surgery trainees. Key findings: Approximately 2.3% of vascular trainee responses on the post-VSITE survey are positive for suicidal ideation. Suicidal ideation was associated with a negative learning environment, wellness factors, and female sex. Take-home message: Although rates of suicidal ideation remain low among vascular trainees, potential areas for intervention include harassment, program responsiveness, and trainee camaraderie.
