Abstract
En 中文
• Betaphycus gelatinus is genetically confirmed to occur in northern Philippines. • Morphological transformation enabled its land-based cultivation. • Land-based domestication of Betaphycus was established and is promising. • Growth was highest during inter- and southwest monsoon, and low in northeast monsoon. • K-PGD strain measured the highest growth rate, ready for field test planting.
