• Phase-pure tetragonal FeSbO₄ is retained upon MXene incorporation with reduced crystallite size. • MXene integration enhances interfacial connectivity and electronic transport. • Optimized 1 wt% MXene delivers 1458 F g−1 at 1 A g−1 with ∼38.3% retention after 1000 cycles. • Excess MXene loading induces restacking, leading to suppressed electrochemical performance.
