Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
• Porous carbons were synthesized from Hawaii nut shells. • One-step KOH activation strategy was explored to prepare porous carbon. • The obtained carbon exhibits high CO2 uptake, 4.70 and 7.07 mmol/g under 1 bar at 25 and 0 °C, respectively. • Combined effect of narrow microporosity and oxygen content determines the CO2 uptake.
