Titanium oxide (TiO2) currently has a potential applications as the photocatalyst, electrodes in lithium batteries, dye solar cells (DSSC) and biosensors. In this article, titanium dioxide (TiO2) nanopowders crys-tallized in the anatase phase at a crystal size of 49.3 nm, were successfully synthesized using the precur-sor of titanium tetraiso-propoxide (TTIP) by the sol-gel method. The powders obtained were analyzed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) in the wavenumber range 4000-400 cm-1 , X-ray diffrac-tion using radiation CuKa (k = 1.5406 A)(DRX) and energy dispersive X-ray spectrometry(EDX).Copyright (c) 2022 Elsevier Ltd.
