• Jamun pulp has been utilized as commercially viable fuel for synthesizing LHF using sol-gel auto-combustion method (SGACM). • Pure phase/highest dielectric constant (≈1600) are attained at a concentration of 1 g jamun fuel per 100 ml solution. • Coercivity (Hc) increases from 583 Oe (J0) to 1090 Oe (J2), indicating a weak magnetic nature. • Highest magnetisation (Ms ≈ 57.5 emu/g) was observed at 5 g jamun fuel per 100 ml solution.
