Abstract
En 中文
• High-aspect-ratio aragonite whiskers were synthesized by injecting CO2 into a ternesite-based clinker suspension at 80 ℃ for 120 min. • Sulfate species derived from ternesite lowers the pH of the solution and inhibits the nucleation of calcite, which creates favorable conditions for the formation of aragonite. • The continuous evolution and improvement of aragonite crystal structure promote the outward migration of silica gel, which enhances the reactivity of aragonite whisker-rich material.
