Abstract

• Density of purified FLiNaK-UF4 measured using Archimedean displacement method. • Data are analyzed as function of temperature and UF4 composition. • Molar volume, thermal expansion coefficients for each mixture are calculated. • The results are compared and validated with RK model and Muggianu interpolation. • Non ideal mixing nature is explained using co-ordination environment in the melt.
