Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
• ZrOx/CB enhances the MPV hydrogenation of furfural to selectively produce furfuryl alcohol. • Zr/Me-BEA facilitates the tandem hydrogenation–etherification reaction to alkyl furfuryl ether. • Isolated ZrOH hydrogen-bonded with SiOH groups within zeolite pores serve as the Lewis acidic active sites. • Surface functionalities on support determine the nature of Zr active sites and thus dominate the catalytic reaction pathways.
