• Polycomb Repressive Complexes (PRC1 and PRC2) are essential drivers of transcriptional repression and play critical roles in HCC progression. • PRC1 or PRC2 dysregulation promotes key hallmarks of HCC, directly linking epigenetic alterations to tumorigenic and malignant phenotypes. • PRC1 and PRC2 serve as key therapeutic targets, providing a rationale for epigenetic therapies against HCC and other cancers.
