Abstract

• MDEA-PZ-[BMIM][AC] shows CO₂ loading capacity of 2.182 mol mol−1 at 50 bar. • DOE reveals combined effects of IL conc., temperature, pressure on CO₂ uptake. • Thermodynamic-kinetic model accurately simulates high-pressure absorption-desorption. • Capture costs of 78.03-125 USD t⁻¹ CO₂; OPEX and throughput are key cost drivers. • Experimental-modeling framework confirms ILAH solvents for industrial CO₂ capture.
