• Leveraging the material's dual-wavelength dual-temperature response, a "temperature-locking" anti-counterfeiting system can be achieved. • By "writing" information using two different wavelengths, the BaHfO3:0.03Eu3+ PC material responds to two different temperatures. • BaHfO3:0.03Eu3+ materials achieve temperature-locked anti-counterfeiting functionality.
