• Important to reduce ultrasound examinations and biopsies in benign breast lesions. • Multivoxel 3.0T1H-MRS (lesions ≥ 1 cm) resulted in a high NPV of 89%. • Most malignancies can be ruled out based on choline values < 1.70 mmol/L.
