Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
There has been mounting pressure on cancer multi-disciplinary team (MDT) meetings due to increasing case volumes. Efforts to streamline MDT workflows over the past decade have not resulted in substantial change. Artificial intelligence (AI)-driven technologies are being increasingly deployed across the healthcare sector. Their application in MDT decision-making, especially in reducing preparation time, triaging cases, and enhancing the consistency and evidence-based nature of clinical recommendations, remains an area of active research. However, important considerations such as medicolegal liability, as well as patient acceptance and informed consent, must be addressed before widespread adoption into routine clinical practice is realised
