Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
The two-dimensional static problem of linear elasticity for a body with incorporated thin curvilinear inclusions is studied. The inclusions (for example, rods or filaments) are assumed to be periodically situated and the problem contains a small parameter e > 0, which characterizes the distance between two neighboring inclusions. Using the two-scale convergence approach, we carry out the homogenization procedure as e-0. As a result, we obtain a homogenized model of an anisotropic inhomogeneous body with effective characteristics inheriting the mechanical properties of inclusions, in which the amplifying effect of inclusions is significant.
