• Proposes that senescence may be sustained by impaired mechanotransduction and reduced mechanical plasticity, in addition to biochemical damage and SASP signaling. • Defines the “Physical Senotype” as a conceptual framework encompassing cytoskeletal, nuclear, trafficking, and cell–ECM changes associated with senescent states. • Organizes emerging physical senotherapies into direct senescent-cell elimination, mechanically primed immune clearance, and mechanical rejuvenation or reprogramming. • Highlights mechanotransduction and the mechanical microenvironment as emerging, context-dependent targets for senescence-associated tissue dysfunction.
