Abstract

Abstract

• We clarified the relationship between parental control and children's aggressive behavior, finding a significant positive correlation between the two. • The relationship between parental control and children's aggressive behavior is significantly moderated by factors such as children's gender, academic stage, cultural background from both East and West, types and measurement instruments of control behavior, as well as different reporters in control and aggressive behavior. • The moderating effects of parental gender, types and measurement tools of aggressive behavior, and publication year are not significant.
