Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
Correct functioning of actuators is of great importance to industrial processes. Conventional actuators are hampered by their inherent characteristics (including non-linearities) and fault conditions, which degrade loop performance. A new generation of 'smart' actuators have self-diagnostic capabilities and can compensate for non-linearities and fault conditions. A generic model and interface for self-validating actuators is proposed. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
