Abstract
En 中文
This reflective article presents the experience of the Rayito de Luz group, located in the La Juventud neighborhood (Bucaramanga, Santander, Colombia), in relation to the social fabric. The objective was to analyze the experiences and milestones of this community. The methodology used was qualitative, phenomenological, and ethnographic, employing semi-structured interviews, focus groups, and participant observation. Emerging categories such as affectivity, social support, empathy, motivation, and sense of belonging were established through triangulation of the instruments. The results determined how emotions, affection, and the recognition of the other as a subject of participation acquire meaning in the act of caring. Finally, the central elements of the social fabric are identified as a way to improve quality of life and coexistence within the territory; furthermore, the recognition of the meaning of caring is demonstrated through concrete actions that extend to the family group and the immediate environment.
