Abstract

En 中文
A novel method was developed for the efficient synthesis of 6-alkylphenanthridines under photoredox catalysis conditions, using H2O2 as an exogenous oxidant through the cyclization reaction of alkylboronic acids and isonitriles. This method enables the in-situ activation of alkyl boronic acid under visible light irradiation, generating alkyl radicals which then undergo radical addition cascade cyclization with isonitriles to construct the phenanthridine skeleton with significant biological activity. Moreover, it has successfully achieved gram-scale synthesis, providing a new strategy for the green synthesis of 6-alkylphenanthridines that offers mild conditions, broad substrate scope, and excellent functional group compatibility.
