Abstract
En 中文
The yrast-band structures of 102Pd and 106,108Cd isotopes have been studied within collective and shell-model frameworks. Comparison with experimental excitation energies indicates that the shell-model calculations yield larger root-mean-square deviations, especially for nuclei characterized by higher R4/2 ratios. In addition, the theoretical energy ratios E(I)/E(21+) are analyzed and compared with the predictions of E(5) symmetry.
