• Embed 2D damage segmentation into Gaussian Splatting (GS) 3D-reconstruction pipeline for one-step 3D damage visualization. • Multi-view consistency optimization yields damage representation robust against single-view segmentation errors. • Hierarchical GS reconstruction uses high-resolution inputs for damage-zone refinement only for efficiency-fidelity balance. • Leverage GS novel-view synthesis to detect new damage and update the 3D digital twin to reflect temporal damage evolution.
