Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
• The study investigated regulation of mitochondrial transcription factors (mtTFs) • mtTFs are repressed in the left ventricle of genetically-hypertensive rats. • TNF-α diminished the expression of mtTFs in cardiomyocytes. • Ang-(1–7), an anti-inflammatory and anti-hypertensive peptide, reversed the effects of TNF-ɑ. • PGC-1ɑ-YY1 transcriptional complex acts as a key modulator of the mtTFs.
