Currently, a limit is being reached in integrated circuits miniaturization. When operating on the nanometer scale, due to a phenomenon known as the tunnel effect, electrons escape from the channels through which they must circulate. This phenomenon is associated with quantum physics. Therefore, traditional computing is limited because it has reached scales that are difficult to reduce further. In this context, in recent years, research into quantum technology has grown exponentially. Various organizations and companies invest time and money in the development of quantum computers. Quantum computing represents a radical change with respect to binary computing. In this article, a review of the tools currently used for quantum programming is presented, aimed at highlighting the most relevant aspects based on application context in the computing field.
