• First participatory network dedicated to urban precipitation isotopic tracing. • Strong urban-scale variability detected in rain and snow isotopic signatures. • Variability dominated by previous precipitation evaporation and recycling. • Urban precipitation residence time ∼ 50 h. • Combustion-induced water vapor contributes up to 5% in precipitation.
