• TPhP activates the transcription of PTEN by activating PPARγ in EVT cells. • TPhP activates PPARγ and regulate PTEN-PI3K-AKT-mTOR pathway. • TPhP inhibits migration and invasion of EVT cells through PTEN-PI3K-AKT-mTOR pathway. • 4. TPhP inhibits EVT cell migration and invasion through activating autophagy. • 5. TPhP modulates autophgy through PPARγ-PTEN-PI3K-AKT-mTOR-autophagy axis.
