• MD data reveal anisotropic Li transport at LATP/PEO electrolyte interfaces. • Pristine LATP induces polymer layering that restricts Li to 2D motion. • Short-chain PEO modifications disrupt ordering to enable 3D Li conduction. • 25% modification shows optimal interfacial impedance reduction of nearly 60%. • Excessive modification hinders ion transport due to steric crowding.
