• Sr2+ doping reduces BaSnO₃ particle size from 125.3 nm to 22.6 nm. • XRD and XPS confirm phase purity and electronic environment modifications. • Ba₀.₈Sr₀.₂SnO₃ achieves 1902 F g−1 specific capacitance at 1 A g−1. • Hybrid supercapacitor exhibits 53.61 Wh kg−1 energy density at 1872.38 W kg−1. • Superior cycling stability with ~100% Coulombic efficiency over 10,000 cycles.
