• A stable 2D N-sumanene with a puckered configuration and unique π-conjugation has been predicted. • The 2D N-sumanene demonstrate all-angle in-plane auxeticity and robust Dirac nodal loop characteristics. • This 2D N-sumanene is capable of supporting stable, low-loss plasmons from terahertz to infrared frequencies.
