Abstract
En 中文
To study the behavior of two-phase flow in a 20 & times; 1 cm2 narrow channel and to characterize the flow regime transition process in vertical air-water flows, a flow visualization study is conducted. The observation port is approximately 130 hydraulic diameters downstream to allow for the flow to develop. The flow visualization is performed using a high-speed camera. A total of 298 flow conditions are studied. Flow structures are identified and depicted as illustrations along with visualization images.
