Abstract
En 中文
• A novel sol-gel derived organic-inorganic coating is developed for superior energy dissipation at fiber-matrix interface. • The bond strength between sol-gel functionalized fiber and cementitious matrix is increased by 97.7%. • Chemo-mechanical bridging mechanism is revealed via microscale tests and molecular dynamics simulation. • The sol-gel coating promotes physical interlocking, chemical bridging, and interfacial densification.
