Abstract
En 中文
• HgSNP formation in Hg(II)-DOM systems with ng/L to µg/L level was elucidated. • Ultrafiltration-TEM with EDX validated the HgSNP formation (∼35–40 nm). • Combined LC-ICP-MS and sp-ICP-MS tracked rapid HgSNP formation. • Sunlight and heat promote HgSNP formation via enhanced C-S bond cleavage. • This HgSNP formation reduces microbial methylation of Hg(II).
