Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
Through this paper, a new centrality calculation method is proposed to optimize the decision making process in network-based problems. The proposed centrality calculation method is called Variable Centrality (VC) which is able to calculate centrality measures based on predefined requirements. A number of controller parameters are designed in this method to manipulate centrality based on users' requirements. We justify the proposed centrality calculation method using a number of numerical experiments, in which, we illustrate that the proposed method is a super class for some centrality methods which is able to produce a huge variation of centrality measures based on different scenarios. We compare the proposed method with the state-of-the-art centrality methods using different metrics like different correlation coefficients and SIR.
