• About one in ten students have cyberbullied others recently • Cyberbullying behaviors are less likely when children are strongly attached to their parents • A strong bond leads to a vicarious supervision effect, where children are less likely to cyberbully others because they do not want to risk damaging their relationship with their parents • Children who perceive their parents know what they are doing online are less likely to cyberbully others
