Abstract
En 中文
A visible light-mediated photochemical oxidation of benzylic C-H bonds has been developed using inexpensive and commercially available (-)-riboflavin (vitamin B2) as a photocatalyst. The reaction is conducted in an environmentally benign manner, utilizing air as the oxidant and a mixture of ethanol and water as the solvents, without the need for any additives. This protocol provides a straightforward and mild approach for the direct conversion of alkylbenzenes into ketones.
