Abstract

Abstract

En 中文
• Repurposes waste mop cloth into high-performance oil sorbents via a straightforward dip-coating method. • Superhydrophobic and photothermal surface enables efficient oil sorption from cold water (2–6 ℃). • Microfiber/yarn winding structure on mop' cleaning layer enables stable oil absorption-desorption over 100 cycles. • Developed passive oil recovery system with the mop cloth achieves oil recovery at 1600.36 kg m−2 h−1. • Provides a sustainable solution to addresses critical challenge of cold-environment viscous oil recovery.
