Abstract
En 中文
We introduce and study a new class of integral domains, referred to as weakly perinormal domains. This class strictly lies between the class of perinormal domains and the class of (R-1)-domains. Several basic properties of this new class of rings are established. We study the behavior of weak perinormality under pullbacks. More precisely, if S is an integral domain, M an arbitrary but a fixed maximal ideal of S, K = S/M and D an integral domain with quotient field K, then the weak perinormality of the pullback D xKS implies that of D and S. Throughout, we also establish generalizations of various known results concerning perinormal domains.
