Studies of eye movements have evolved from clinical phenomenology to a probe of neural circuitry, cognition, and behavior offering a powerful, noninvasive window into nervous system function. In Parkinson's disease (PD), ocular motor control has emerged as a uniquely informative model system, reflecting dysfunction across motor, cognitive, and executive domains.
