Abstract

Abstract

• Positive Energy Districts (PEDs) must create value for their members. • We survey homeowners in France and Germany, and elicit the value of PEDs in three ways: • Would the rental value of their homes would change if they were connected to a PED? • How much they would pay per year to be member of a PED—as pure consumer or prosumer? • The value of PED participation ranges from €100 to €500 a year.
